Mat Hoffman
He's Mat Hoffman!
About a year ago we heard that Mat had looked at developing a 22" bike for his first Mega Ramp project back in 1989. Chris Gack also worked with Mat on this and the idea was that a 22" wheel bike would be faster than a 20" and slightly more stable in the air but not too stable to prevent Mat correcting an air 50 ft above the ground.
When we read on a forum in January that 'Mat is always talking about 22" bikes' we got in touch hoping he was about to re-start his 22" Mega Ramp project again and we offered the use our 22" wheels and tyres.
Mat is recovering from an arm injury and has only been able to ride one handed around his HQ on our bike but Mat offered to help out with test riding when he's able to ride again.
